Dalbello Boss boots feature a 3-piece shell design that ensures a precise foothold and a smooth, progressive flex as you bend your knees into the turn
Separate cuff, shell and tongue sections are joined together to create a smooth forward flex with rigid lateral support
Shock-absorbent cuff inserts make big-air landings a little easier on the shins, and shock-absorbent heel inserts make them a bit easier on your feet as well
Liners feature medium-density foam around the rear foot and tongue and toe box stretches for comfort and fit
Liners are engineered to fit correctly right out of the box, but they can be custom formed as well, a procedure best performed in an REI specialty ski shop

3 microadjustable aluminum buckles on each boot create a precision fit; inverted bottom buckles won't come loose from contact with snow

Ski boots have been torture chambers for me since I started skiing in 1978. My foot is on the wide side, and while I loved my early 90's Lange Pink Panthers, my feet felt broken every time I removed them until I simply left them at Park City in the early 2000's, not bothering to take them as I hobbled home. I have rented ever since and finally decided to buy new for the first time in 20+ years.

at first I bought Lange again because I was told they had designed new, wide boots. I bought the Wide version and it was way too tight for me. REI suggested the Dalbello, I tried it and it was PERFECT.

I have skied 3 times in Wisconsin on them, then brought them to Utah for 2 days at the Canyons and 1 at Park City and they are magnificent.

I've been out of skiing for many years but I'm very happy with money invested in these boots. I was bit concerned a first as they seemed to pinch but after a couple of hours I hardly noticed the boots. They fit very well, were very warm, and were easy to get on and off. I would recommend this boot.
