Returning back to skiing after boarding for 20 years. Wanted some decent boots that were comfortable but still performed well, and would allow me to ramp back into skiing easily. Very happy with the level of comfort and performance. My wife complains all day about her boots, and these are nearly as comfortable as my snowboard boots.

My only issue with this boot is that I'm getting close to being on the tightest buckle settings. Maybe I have skinny feet/shins, but not ridiculously so. I'm good for now, but a little concerned I'm on the last buckle on 2 out of 3 buckles. Apart from that, all good - and I think good value for the money.

I have always rented gear that was either too big, loose, stiff or flexible. The minute I put on the Cochise 90 they felt as though they were "my" boots. Wore them the first time and had to adjust the dominant foot considerably different than less dom. foot, but aside from that very comfortable, warm and nice combination of flex and rigidity. Can wear them all day, both riding and having an apres beer in the lodge and never have to loosen buckles. Solid boot for the novice...like me, but with room to grow skill/ preferance wise!
