I was looking for a non-parka winter coat that is waterproof and covers my bum (women's coats are too short now, in my experience) and I've purchased and tried on MANY in the last couple of years. I took a chance on this one and am crazy happy! I'm 5'8", 155 lbs, and have a long torso. But this coat still covers my rear and fits very nicely. It's not too tight, but is very flattering in it's cut. The coat feels substantial, but not bulky. I like the color and cut a lot more than I thought I would from the photo. I haven't had a chance to wear it in the rain yet, but I'll update my review if it doesn't block moisture. So far very happy with my purchase!
