The DAKINE Sequia mittens keep your hands warm on the chilly chairlift ride to the top of the mountain and on the long run all the way back down.

  • Nylon/polyester shells have Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable inserts to keep your hands dry on winter outings; exterior has a Durable Water Repellent treatment
  • High-loft synthetic insulation keeps your hands toasty while you take on winter weather
  • Removable 4-way stretch liner gloves allow you to fiddle with bindings and zippers without exposing your bare hands to the cold
  • Get a good grip on your ski poles with the RubberTec PVC palms
  • Exterior zippered pockets are sized to hold small essentials or hand warmer packets (sold separately)
  • Cinch the gauntlets with a simple pull on the shockcord
  • Soft panels on the thumbs give you a gentle place to wipe your cold nose
  • DAKINE Sequoia mittens have a polyester tricot lining that adds warmth and wicks moisture off your hands

            I ordered these gloves in Medium based on the measurements on the website, and had to return them because they were way too small. I exchanged them for size Large and took them up to the mountain. They were soft and pretty warm, but less than 2 hours into the day, the cord to tighten the gloves around the wrist broke! I returned them.

                I bought these gloves for resort skiing -- I find that my hands always stay warmer in mittens, and I loved the styling. These gloves are fully featured with wrist ties, goggle wiper, nose wiper, and even a pocket on the top of the hand to insert hand warmers! The only problem I had was the fit. I tried on a small but found it a bit snug, plus the gauntlet wrists were difficult to pull over my hardshell sleeves. I wish they were a bit longer and/or wider. Otherwise, great glove!

                  I use these mittens mainly for snowboarding. They fit great and keep my hands warm even when in wet/heavy snow and rain on the slopes. The only downside to the mittens i have found so far is that they take longer than desired time for drying after washing. I bought these to replace a pair that i put in the dryer and ruined the filling.
