I needed new boots because my old boots had worn in a little too much over the years and were fitting my feet to my skis a little too loosely causing some loss of control. I had probably bought them a little too big to begin with so I purchased the Lange Super Blasters a size smaller. The fit was perfect heel to toe, but feels extremely squeezed around the width of my foot at the toe/foot base. They boots provide plenty of warmth retention and are extremely customizable in the fit aside from the width. I would recommend these boots, with a tight fit and leaving the second place buckle at the foot width about one notch looser than normal.

I have Skied the Lange Superblaster for 2 seasons now so I have the Orange model but it looks identical to this 2012/2013 design and specs. The main comment I want to make is that this boot helped me get over my fear of going to a stiffer boot for fear it would wear me out in the moguls. I went from a 90 flex (Salomon Facon 9) to this 120 flex Superblaster. I was very impressed with the boots fit, comfort and performance from eastern hardpack to western powder, moguls, crud etc. I have not had any skiing issues with the 120 flex in moguls and now am a converted skier to these high flex boots. I also went for this boot because I had a toe cramping issue in previus boots after 2 hours of hard skiing that could not be fixed (3 shop fitting and forming attempts in the Falcon 9) Now with this Lange Super Blaster I can go twice as long or more due to the 102mm width helps my toe space. Great boot, tough to get into and out of if cold shell and also heavy but I would recommend them to others for downhill.
