The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Inova Xs Flashlight:
So I got this light because I wanted one for easy access (otherwise known as EDC) and I am super happy with it. The included S-biner slips on and off my keychain with ease (I have never experienced any of my S-biners self-detaching, as others have reported), so it's always at hand for when I need it. My keychain is a little bulky with everything on it, but this light is not the heaviest thing I carry (That title goes to my Leatherman Squirt S4). The Inova XS provides plenty of light on high and plenty of runtime on low. Plus, with power supply being a standard AAA, you shouldn't ever have a problem getting batteries. I haven't tried it, but I hear that lithium batteries will give you well over 2 hours of light, though it would be much less expensive to carry a spare alkaline! I find the momentary tail switch is awkward to operate, so I just use the twist on method instead. Either way, one is high, two is low. Mine is black and accumulates scuffs in my pocket; not really scratches, as they'll buff out, but I can't speak for the titanium color. I would use a larger, brighter light for applications where I really needed light, but for general, everyday use, this is a great little light!

Comments about Inova Xs Flashlight:
I just used this for the first time in the dark on a trail. On high beam, its very bright. Does
an excellent job brighting up the trail in front of you. If the triple A battery lasts 90 min. on high, that is amazing too. I justed the low beam looking in my pack in the dark and that worked great too.
Great emergency mini flashlight!!

Comments about Inova Xs Flashlight:
The Inova Xs is everything you could ask for in compact lighting. The light, itself, is made from durable aluminum, which has taken it's fair share of punishment during it's time with me. The light has suffered a little cosmetic damage, but still works like a dream. It's been dropped from about five feet and tossed around in my bag/pocket, with no defects so far (Aside from a few scratches).
The beam is a mix between a spotlight and a floodlight, and has an inbetween feeling that "feels right." The claim is that the beam can throw out to 58 meters, but I think that's a little optimistic. Don't get me wrong, however, the distance is more than enough considering it's size and batteries used.
The end-cap switch functions are simple, and to the point, although sometimes the switch is a little touchy (It'll skip a mode and send you right back to the mode you were trying to switch out of, once in a while). The momentary on function is nice, but requires a little effort to activate (Just a little more than it feels like it should, but not too badly). The touchiness of the light is noticed most when using the momentary feature and does flicker time to time. A full counter-clockwise turn (360 Degrees) locks the light out, so it can't accidentally turn on in your bag, or pocket, but the momentary function is still available in lock out mode.
High mode is plenty of light for close to moderate distances, although the "AAA" battery doesn't do it justice for the time it's on. But, what can you expect for a "AAA" battery? Now, Low Mode is where the light shines (No pun intended). For 6 lumens, this light is fairly bright. With a battery life of 26 hours, it does a really decent job on Low Mode.
The lanyard and S-Biner are left for improvements, though. The lanyard is a little too short to really be helpful, unless if you clip it to a belt loop or bag. The S-Biner is difficult to manipulate, sometimes, and is more of a hassle than a help. They do work fairly well, but if you're using this light constantly, I'd probably skip the lanyard and S-Biner and stick it right in your pocket.
Overall, I think the Inova Xs is pretty spot on for a compact flashlight. I would certainly suggest carrying one as a back up light for your bag, pocket or car!
