Altimeter, Barometer, Compass (ABC) wrist-top design delivers crucial data for gauging performance, direction and weather
Barometric altimeter is accurate to 29,500 ft. and displays current elevation and elevation gain/loss; records entire session for later analysis
Unique start-from-zero function simplifies altimeter usage by eliminating need to enter a reference altitude
Barometer function measures and records air pressure to help predict changing conditions; weather trend indicator shows history over last 3 - 6 hrs.

Product flaw: in black, this watch is unreadable in lower light conditions. At my desk at work. Nighttime a the kitchen table. There is no way to adjust, as it uses light reflection to make it more readable.
Also, the stopwatch function is so small it is impossible to see when running. Needs a separate Mode that shows stopwatch in large font.
Was very excited about this watch. Unfortunately, in my opinion it is poorly designed.

This is the best Suunto watch currently on the market. I have used several from Suunto and also used some from highgear, etc., and this is the best by far. First and foremost you can READ the face in any light and the display is crystal clear. I have used the negative face before and this is 1000% better. The watch is not the big for all it does and being white in color actually appears smaller than the regular black core watches visually. This is also designed for snorkeling, so you won't have the issues when you accidentally get it wet as the other core watches have had in the past. The storm alarm works great and seems to be louder than previous versions. Overall I have nothing negative to say about this watch so far. I have had a lot of outdoor ABC watches and this one is intuitive, quick to set up, readable at any angle and in any light, and is packed full of features. I highly recommend it.
