Comments about Bogs Classic Mid Stargazer Insulated Rain Boots - Women's:
Love that they are cute and functional, almost a fashion statement. Got such a great deal that I got a pair for a dear friend as well! The only draw back is for my narrow feet there is a little extra space on the sides but they are still very good. Highly recommend them to anyone interested in a boot that is waterproof and easy to put on quickly.

Comments about Bogs Classic Mid Stargazer Insulated Rain Boots - Women's:
They are a little heavy but for walking around in the snow, they are perfect. I work outdoors and they kept my feet warm and dry all day. They are a bit on the short side so if you're in really deep snow, the taller version may be better.

Comments about Bogs Classic Mid Stargazer Insulated Rain Boots - Women's:
I asked for boots that I could wear to the stable where I volunteer. It is often cold & muddy, so that was the most important features needed. Also, they needed to be sturdy enough in case I get stepped on by the horse. I'm not a fan of the flowers pattern, but I don't wear them anywhere else. They hit my shin & calf at an odd place & have actually made a scar on my shin. this might be because they aren't broken in yet. But great in the mud. Not that warm.

Comments about Bogs Classic Mid Stargazer Insulated Rain Boots - Women's:
Excellent warm waterproof boots. These have been my go-to boot for several months now, even when it is not raining. I find myself reaching for these instead of my other shoes most days as long the temperature is below 50. Above 50 and these will cook you! These are very roomy boots and fit perfectly even with thicker wool socks. These are plenty warm, even with light wool socks in 20-30 degree mountain temperatures and snow.
The only con is that the soles are wearing a little quicker than I would like them to, and the design on the tip of the toes shows signs of wearing off, but these are used daily so it is to be expected from rubber. Well worth the price tag!

Comments about Bogs Classic Mid Stargazer Insulated Rain Boots - Women's:
Advertised as warm down to -40, I'd say more like warm down to 45 degrees, unless you are walking very fast all the time so that circulation is at its peak. If you sit down for about ten minutes the cold seeps in and your feet start to hurt from it, just as they would in rubber rianboots. This is seriously misleadingly advertising. I got a good price on the boots and they are cute and comfortable indoors and in moderate temperatures, so I'll probably keep them. But at just 30 degrees in cold, rainy weather they left my feet miserably cold. With heavy wool hiking socks and polar fleece socks over them, they are bearably warm in that tempearture, but still nowhere near as warm as my feet are in Keen hiking shoes with the same socks.
