I was a little familiar with the name brand and thought I would give it a try based on the special buy price. I bought this jacket to provide a waterproof shell for my down jacket during cold wet outings. The good news is that if it gets damaged, I'm not out a couple hundred dollars. A great purchase that will serve me well.

Bought this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas. It is a bit big around but he insists he likes it because he can put multiple layers under it and it is still comfortable. It keeps him dry in the wettest of weather. If you want a jacket that fits well and isn't baggy, I would suggest going down a size unless you have a belly, then perhaps the extra room around would be a bonus.

Red Ledge's motto is "Functional, affordable clothing, for those who exist in reality." I don't know what reality the people at Red Ledge live in, but this parka is fits wide and loose to the extreme, at least one, if not two, sizes up. I bet even John Cena would find this parka to be a loose fit.
