    I purchased this jacket at REI about a month ago, and could not be happier about the purchase. I was browsing for a thermal to wear under my Gore-Tex jacket for skiing or hiking. When I found this and tried it on, first thing I noticed is the comfort level - extremely comfortable.

    It is very warm, but does not overheat me when I'm skiing. The hood is a narrow fit, so when you wear it, it fights true to your head, not like a hoody where you have an oversized hood. The zipper is not made of metal so won't get cold, and the jacket it is easy to wash. Also, the sleeves have thumb holes to prevent the sleeves from rolling down when reaching up during some hikes.

    This is a true fit to size, meaning it does fit a bit slimmer than a standard jacket, which makes it perfect to wear under a Gore-Tex. I'm 5'11 and weigh about 175lbs and a Large fits me perfect.

    Overall, very happy with the purchase.
