    The size of this pack is great for an all day excursion and it has plenty of pockets to organize all of your goods. I bought it for doing day hikes and snowboarding, but it quickly replaced the backpack I use for cycling to school every day as well. It has 2 side pockets for water bottles and both of those have zippered pockets attached too, which I love.
    My only complaints are clearly stated on the product description, so I can't be too bummed: 1. even empty, the pack is fairly heavy, so it might not be ideal for hikes. 2. There is a LOT of pink on this thing (in addition to the straps, all inside pockets are pink too), but what you see is what you get...
