      I've been snowboarding in these gloves three times now, with temperatures in the teen and 20s. I used handwarmer inserts both times, so I can't speak to how well they do without those, but with them they maintained heat well. Also, I'm not actually sure if they are rated as waterproof or not, but they stayed pretty dry for me, even with me falling a lot and having to put my hands in the snow to get up :) All in all, I felt like they are good gloves for the price. I don't know that they'd be warm enough for extreme sports, but they work fine for a day on the slopes.

        These gloves are so warm and soft inside. They really fit the bill for winter sports. My only complaint is that I generate a lot of steam once I get going, which means that eventually the inside of the gloves gets wet - to be expected. However, the inside of the gloves do not dry very easily. After the first time they did not dry, I have now learned I'll have to turn them completely inside out to let them dry which is a hassle, but worth it for very warm windproof gloves, I guess.
