If you're inclined to be outside in winter, the Keen Incline Mid winter boots offer a fine combination of waterproof protection, insulated comfort and everyday style to keep your feet going.
Tough waterproofed nubuck and suede leather uppers offer lasting comfort, flexibility and style; toe caps help protect feet and boots
KEEN.DRY™ waterproof, breathable membranes keep feet dry and allow perspiration to dissipate before it saturates the inside of the shoe
200g KEEN.WARM™ bamboo fiber/polyester insulation offers warmth and comfort
Removable EVA thermal heat shield footbeds feature a 3-layer design that helps prevent heat from escaping and helps keep the cold out
Compression-molded EVA midsoles deliver shock absorption and padding for all-day comfort
Thermoplastic urethane shanks enhance support and stability for handling changing terrain
Keen Incline Mid winter boots have nonmarking, dual-climate rubber outsoles with temperature-sensitive lugs that harden in cold weather to supply better traction on ice
Please note: Keen has found that these boots tend to run about a half size small, so please order up

Rated3out of5byTedWfromGreat for What They AreBought these for "around the campground" activities while doing some winter camping in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
I had to order them without trying them on in the store because it was late in the season and there was nothing in my local REI that fit properly.
I went with Keens based on prior experience. Keen shoes and boots are very well cut for my foot. I hike hundreds of miles in the Sierras every summer in Arroyo sandals.
I did have to knot the laces across the heel to keep my foot from sliding in the boot without cinching down the ankle wrap too tightly.
Wore them on snow and ice while day hiking the Yosemite area on a three day trip. They kept my feet warm and dry without getting sweaty. Grip on the ice was good and traction in snow was excellent.
These are not boots I would wear backpacking. The ankle area is too stiff and the laces don't extend far enough toward the toe box to get a really excellent fit.
As I said in my title, they're great for a play-in-the-snow boot.
