The Outdoor Research Acetylene jacket is a stretchy micro layer with strategically placed PrimaLoft® Eco core insulation—warmth without the weight.

  • Acetylene jacket is a perfect outer layer during alpine and sidecountry adventures, and highly aerobic activities in very cold conditions
  • 60g PrimaLoft Eco insulates the front core for lightweight, quick-drying warmth and wind resistance; think of it as a vest with sleeves!
  • Sleeves and back are made from a low-pile grid fleece that maximizes warmth, breathability and easy movement
  • Use of silver salt derived from low concentrations of recycled silver helps control odors
  • Thumbholes at the cuffs hold sleeves in place and warm hands
