Great shoes, like the colors. I typically get a lot of knee/ankle pain when I run, which I haven't had at all with these shoes.

I got this for running in the rain. I don't really think my shoes were defective because both my socks got wet from the toes. I was very sad.
Otherwise the shoes are great, comfortable and lightweight, good support and cushion.
As it is supposed to be waterproof, it doesn't breath so it gets hot... and because it leaks water in from the toes, it's pretty much useless.

I got these shoes as a replacement to the Salomen GT waterproof shoes. The little zip line laces on those KEPT BREAKING. Much as I loved how those shoes fit and functioned, the whole thing was ruined by the poorly designed laces.

I love these shoes. I wear them on pavement, running paths, and on fire road type trail runs. I've done a little "off-roading", and their tread has been grippy enough to handle it. I tested their waterproof capabilities in the first stream I came to, and they passed. Same for going out after our first rain storm: no wet socks. I've been waiting and waiting for a normal looking running shoe, designed for road running (not these beefy, inflexible trail runners) to be waterproof, and this is it.

The only con I see is price, but that's for everything Gore-tex.
