    • Polartec Power Dry utilizes 2 different yarns on either side of the fabric to enhance comfort: interior yarn wicks moisture, and exterior yarn dries quickly

        This item performs better than it's higher cost peers and provides maximum performance both in back country and on the slopes. I even wear this home on long int'l trips, it's just versatile.

        My only con, is that the first week I got a pull in the fabric. Doesn't impact function but it does look different. Overall, highly recommended, I will buy again!

            I bought the REI mid-weight base layer to use for downhill skiing. The product is good looking, seems to be well made and is a little cheaper than other brand names. At least for me, I like my base layer to fit tight. The medium in this product fits way to loose - not sure how the small would fit on me as I've not tried it yet. Size did not change after washing. I am 5'10", 170 lbs and normally wear a medium size in most things.

            Bought to use as ski and run layering. Great garment but the medium is too small and the large is too big, I bought three but returned two. I f the size was right I would be a happy camper. The garment is trying to be too much, body and arms are too long and I'm tall.
