    Our 2yo is very comfortable in this jacket - all the features are effective and make it such a worthwhile purchase. The hood hasn't had much use but it doesnt get in the way. It's nice to have when you really need it! The material is soft but durable and, while we have not yet used the feature that allows the jacket arms to extend as the child grows, it is an interesting one - esp since that is one area where children vary in size.
    This jacket has only been used in the mountains in snow and so far has not failed us!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
