Comments about Goldcoast The Salvo Skateboard:
Bought this for my 12 year old son. I may be riding it more than him. This is the type of board I grew up riding on suburban asphalt streets in Orlando, Florida. The wheels are soft urethane, the trucks are quality castings with equal quality bushings. The tail is turned up just slightly to allow easy lifting and control of the front. I can't attest to tricks or park riding but on the street it's stable even down a hill at 20 mph and I'm 155 pounds. The board is nice to look at plywood with ultra grippy tape and a nice design below. I also bought my kids Goldcoast's plastic board model (Whiz) which is more compact/backpackable but a bit of a stretch for adult riding. This one is for everyone.
