        I have worn Patagonia clothing for a long time,I use to have to double up my conventional thermals,but not anymore.Patagonia makes several different weights of thermals,so all I do is choose the proper weight for the weather and activity for that day and away I go.These ultralight Silkweights are excellent for high activity days,semi warm days,driving in my car/truck etc.Try all the weights out you'll be amazed,and glad you did.

        I commute by bike and strive to find clothes that look "normal" and are functional on a bike. These leggings fit those qualifications perfectly. These look like normal leggings, but keep moisture/sweat to a minimum, keep sweat odor in check, and so far they've held up great in the wash. They are great under a dress or under jeans; the silky texture allows layers to float on top of the leggings without looking awkward or constantly having to be pulled into position.

        The only beef I have with these is with the waistband; it rolls around and doesn't stay in one place for long. It's not so bad though, I've definitely seen worse!

        This is my first experience with Patagonia clothes, and as long as these hold up a reasonable amount of time, I'll be buying their stuff for life.
