      I replaced a similar model North Face jacket with this one recently. My previous jacket had served me well for five winters and had even gone to Mt Everest before, so I was looking for a really good replacement. So far my new Storm Peak Triclimate has not disappointed. The removable inner liner is a real plus as the climate I am in sometimes changes radically in 24 hours so it's been great to be able to pull that out and have this jacket transform into a much lighter outer shell. And with the liner back in, so far this jacket has kept me feeling warm and dry even under the harshest conditions I've been able to throw at it. One of the things I enjoy the most about this jacket is that even with that level of warmth, it's slim fitting enough that I don't even have to take it off when driving. And the style looks great enough to wear any where on any occasion.

        I use this coat as my everyday cold weather coat. It does a decent job of keeping me warm, In a short sleeve shirt there is a little chill in the arms. It was 7 degrees today and I was completely warm.
