      I recently found myself in Berlin on the first day of Spring. I had purchased this jacket just in case I might need it during my travels, glad I did. Day temps around 24F, night temps dropped to about 7F. Plus a very strong wind coming out of Siberia. I sometimes get cold rather easily and with some light layering under it this jacket has kept me comfortable and stopped the wind completely. Can not speak to how well it is waterproofed as have only encounter snow. Would have given the jacket a 5 star review, but find the cord locks for adjusting the hood almost impossible to deal with when wearing heavier gloves. Also I am not sure how durable they will be. Other than that this is a fine jacket and good value. I have received a few compliments from locals regarding the jacket's styling and construction. Since they know cold weather here I take that as meaning something.

      I like the overall style of this product. However, I find it strange that my upper arms get cold in this jacket. Never experienced that before. It is great for blocking wind, rain and snow... but on frigid days, you will feel the cold. The coat I purchased is also lacking the omni heat lining on the shell, perhaps this is a defective jacket?

        Used this jacket during a snowstorm and I remained warm and dry with the help of underlayers, it was 17 degrees far out and it felt more like 68 with the jacket on.
