        I used this flask for over seven years. It went with me all over the world including South America, Alaska, Afghanistan (three tours) and all over the U.S. I used it for several different beverages and it never affected the taste and never leaked. I always washed it with Dawn dishwashing liquid and a Cambelbak brush. Then one day I was in a hurry and put it in the dishwasher. The high heat warped the mouth of the bottle and it would not longer seal. It also warped the sleeve/cup. I'm replacing it right away. This thing is a high quality, well thought out great value and will give you years of service as long as you wash it in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance. If you're considering other plastic flasks, you can stop looking. You will not be disappointed with this one.

          I filled this flask half full with Talisker 2 months ago, and the single malt scotch is still fresh today. There is no plastic taste, the whisky tastes the same as it does fresh from the bottle.

            We have two of these. They are perfect for carrying adult beverages for relaxed recreation. Never worry about leaks, measuring is easy, and the cover doubles as a glass.
