  • Offset, lightweight WaterTight™ Vislon front zipper prevents windchill and snow entry; quick-drying chin guard protects soft skin from zipper abrasion
  • Stretch panel powder skirt with snap closure keeps out cold air and snow; slide-and-lock snaps attach jacket to compatible pants (sold separately)

    I originally tried the Alpha SV Jacket first and it was long in the sleeves and the hood did not accommodate my helmet (XL helmet). The sidewinder is the perfect fit for me (Large). My helmet moves freely under the hood and it completely blocks the wind, water and snow. I wear a Patagonia nano-puff layer under this shell and it has kept me plenty warm on the mountain(UT/CO). It is an expensive shell but one that looks like it will endure for the long term. I highly recommend it.
