            After buying two pairs of Kuhl's Renegade pant for outdoor use and being completely satisfied with their wear, comfort and quality, I decided to try the Outkast for the office and weekend wear. Attention to detail, quality and comfort of these pants is outstanding. Waist and inseam sizing is true. You don't adapt to these pants, they feel completely natural from the first time you put them on. Kuhl's design team knows what they're doing, I look forward to trying more of their products. The Outkast has a look that's ok for the casual office scene, but they still have a slight rugged look to them. My only complaint is that I wished Kuhl offered them in more than just two colors.

            These pants are great! I work in a manufacturing environment and wear these day aftr day. Then on the weekend I will wear them out for adventures. They are durable yet soft and comfortable. The only issue I seem to come up against is that the first pair I bought (khaki) seems to hold onto stains. Doesn't really bother me for how I wear them, but it might bother some. I am purchasing a second pair of the darker shade to eliminate the stain issue.

              I bought two pairs of Kuhl pants at REI because they look like they were quality made and would last. I hope this is the case.

              I found that both pairs of pants had the same "after manufacture" labels. That is, these labels are put on after the product is complete. They serve no purpose what so ever; not washing instructions, not care instruction. My second complaint is that they add unnecessary cost to the product.

              My first complaint is that they cause the pants to be uncomfortable because it feels like there is a sticker, a thorn, or a barb in the pants. Everyone knows this. It is insulting that these labels are put in garments. What is the thinking? Is it cool to irratate customers? Is this the old advertising mentality, "It really doesn't matter what the customer thinks of the company as long as they are thinking of the company."? It does matter. I'll go to someone that doesn't use these labels.

              Fortunately I am handy with a needle and thread and was able to remove them without damaging the garment. But I feel that I am owed an hour's labour.
