        Took this hooded merino base layer up to the mountains for a week of hiking. I found it very comfortable in all conditions. I appreciated the thumb holes in the sleeves that prevented bunching when I added heavier layers on top of this one. Those thumb holes also allowed the sleeves to cover my wrists when I had gloves on- small detail, but nice. Ibex makes good stuff. I'll definitely be purchasing more of their products.

          Purchased initially as a night time shirt for backpacking. But I love it so much, that it gets used for early morning walks, cold mornings around the house, and more. But for the original use, it is a perfect layer. Super soft, great looking, and just the right amount of warmth and breatheability.

          Get one of these... you will not be disappointed.

          This piece has become a second skin. Received it 4 days ago, have worn it 4X and washed it once. Dries quickly, sleeves are perfect length for using thumb holes, thumb holes are adequately reinforced, wish it came in the color BLACK.

            My first experience with hi-performance wool and I'm impressed. Great combination of functionality and style. The description and picture are accurate, it's quite fitted so a thin T is all I wear under it. My only nits: I occasionally wear it to work so would prefer sleeves without thumbholes and it tends to ride up a bit at the waist. Other than that, brilliant.

              I love my hooded indie. The weight of this top makes it quite suitable for active use. I would wear this on the mountain passes of the John Muir trail to keep warm when taking a break. Also for the first cool 1/2 hour of hiking in the morning and around camp.I even wore it sleeping.
              The fitted hood is very handy. The Merino wool does not get a funky smell after days on the trail.
              The fit is neither loose or tight. I am 6'1" 195 lbs. I opted for the XL for a looser fit but could wear the large size, also.
              Highly recommended.
