      Great shirt. I love the wool: it is warm when you need it, yet breathable enough to feel comfortable coming into a warm house after a cold hike outside. Like all wool clothing, it can be a bit scratchy, especially around the neck line. The functionality is great, with snaps instead of buttons.

      I just bought the 'fog horn ombre' color and am wearing it for the first day. So I don't have any longevity information.

      My first impression: this is a great shirt, made with care and good design from very good material. The plaid match at all seams. I like the western snaps, and there is a snap at the back of the collar along with a fruit loop hanger. The double-layered wool along the front snaps ends in a chevron just below the last snap so there is less bunching when tucked in. The side seams have a small chevron of reinforcing material at the bottom, the right one with the Ibex symbol. The wool is just a bit scratchy and there is no collar liner. I like clothes that hurt me just a little. :-) I imagine I will have and use this shirt for many many years.

      I like it so much I just bought a second in 'snowdown plaid.'
