Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids' - 2011 Closeout:
I never write reviews, but always read other people's to help me deceide about buying something, so here I finally return the favor.
We looked at this sleeping bag and the Kelty and the REI ones to get for our then six year old son. We opted for this one because it was the one with the best temperature rating and the one that would take the longest to outgrow (it is longer than the other kid ones).
We have used this one for three weeklong backpacking trips and multiple car camping trips. So far it has performed well, no problems with the zipper getting cought and it has kept my son warm in freezing temperatures. He loves it. Some other reviewers have commented on it being bulky. I agree it is a little bulky for a kid size bag, but since he does not carry much jet anyway it still fits fine into his backpack. The REI meteor. And it still compresses smaller than my bag. So far it has lasted three years and still looks like new. We should get at least another year out of it before it is too short.
Overall we are very happy with the product.

Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids' - 2011 Closeout:
just what I was looking for... comfy, lightweight, warm, and it packs down small (more so than most kids bags). This is a mini version of a quality sleeping bag, not an inferior product like so many children's bags. My daughter is almost 4 and it fits her well. Probably will until she is 6 or so.

Comments about The North Face Tigger +20 Sleeping Bag - Kids' - 2011 Closeout:
Great bag at a great price. The bags compress down to a pack-able size and the zipper does not snag. My boys (age 5&7) have used these in the low 30's and stayed plenty warm. The 5 year old I would say is a cold sleeper and was fine with a pair of long johns.
For compression, weight, and warmth about as good a kids sleeping bad as you can find. Unless you go down, but Kids and down is a no no for me.
