I purchased this bag while looking for a bag to have on hand for back-up use. It popped up online in the REI-Outlet at a very attractive price, and from the standpoint of build quality and temperature performance seemed like a far better value than similarly-priced sleeping bags that I had seen while shopping locally.

I got the large size as I am 6'-1" and 250 lbs. At 66.1 oz in the stuff sack (my item, weighed on a legal-for-trade scale) it can't be considered light weight, but it is also not that heavy for a synthetic bag. It stuffs nicely into its included stuff sack, resulting in a stowed unit that is approximately 16" long and 9 1/2" in diameter. The stuff sack is well made and built to last. Although perhaps a bit heavy and overly large for the ultra-lightweight enthusiast, its a really compact package size for a large sized synthetic bag. For car camping and kayak camping, this is probably the best value available in a 3 season synthetic bag.

Build quality of the sleeping bag is excellent. The stitching looks nice. The zipper, which has pulls at both ends (nice!) operates smoothly.

It is rated at 20 degrees F. The lowest that I have used it is 36 degrees F, and I was toasty warm. I think that the 20F rating is reasonably accurate.

In use, it is extremely comfortable. So much so, that it has been getting a lot of use as a comforter around the house.

I love down, but just didn't want to invest down money into a back-up bag. This bag met (actually exceeded) my expectations, and is IMHO a tremendous value.
