    Comments about The North Face Brooklyn Down Jacket - Women's:

    I bought this coat after losing a great deal of weight, and finding out that downsizing my old winter coat would not suit my new figure. I tried on a number of options, and the Brooklyn jacket was my final choice. It is warm without being bulky. I can be comfortable in a NYC winter wearing only a thin top under it. I'm 5'3", 135 with broad shoulders and wearing a 34D bra, and the M has enough room for a fleece jacket or thick sweater under it. For me, the belt is a huge selling point, as it gives a nice flattering slim waisted look. I highly recommend this jacket. This jacket will cover you in all climates. The only caveat is that, if you're going to be riding in a convertible in winter, you might want to consider a heavier coat, such as the North Face Arctic II Parka. And it's not as if I know anyone crazy enough to be driving down the highway in 15º weather. No, I don't. Really.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
