I bought this on clearance at my local REI store just a week or so ago. I can't give it 5 stars because I have no idea of the longevity of this product. It has the wool on your body and the sleeves are a normal insulated lining with a nylon like fabric on the inside to make it easier to get your arms in and out with long sleeves on. I wore it during a winter day here in WI with temperatures in the low 30s with 20 MPH winds and couldn't feel the wind at all! Stayed warm walking to class and had to unzip as soon as I got in to the building because I started getting hot. Greta for cold weather when you don't want the bulkiness of a coat.

I bought this because I needed a heavier, hooded inner layer for one of my jackets. It works great by itself as well though. The fleece lining does not extend to the arms which made it even better to layer on top of (usually my issue with layering jackets is that the arms of the under layer are too thick to go into the outer jacket easily), but it does probably mean that this isn't the best solo jacket for the winter. I normally wear mediums, and this was true to its size. Hood fits pretty well too. I have the blue one and it's more of a dark blue than what's in the picture. I like the dark blue better though.
