    I think this is a great jacket and I get compliments on it all the time. Normally, I don't like fixed hoods b/c they are bulky and rarely fit well but this hood lays well when not in use and fits great when you need it. I haven't tried wearing it as a raincoat b/c that's not its purpose, but it's rained on me numerous times while I've been out and the hood and water resistant shell have kept me dry every time. It's not heavy enough for really cold weather but anything in the 40's or above I've felt warm enough in it.

    The jacket has a fitted feel which is great except if you find yourself trying to put it on over a collared shirt or a sweater. The forearms are too tight to be wearing layers underneath.
