My son is going on his third pair, if you're looking for a casual shoe for a kid to throw on quickly for heading out the door, that can be used for light activity outdoors, and is much more substantial than something like crocs or keen sandals, this is your shoe. His have worn out, but to be fair, he beats them to death, and they've lasted longer for him than more substantial shoes.

These are the best shoes my son has ever owned. He's three--almost four--and extremely active. He wore them comfortably all winter and could put them on and take them off by himself. When they got a little wet, they dried without any visible impact from the water. These are seriously sturdy, kid-and-parent-friendly shoes. They do run a little small, though.
