          I purchased this on sale because it fit great and it looked functional. After getting it home and debating on whether or not to keep it I decided I had too many similar items that served the same purpose. I'm sure I would have been happy with it but my NYC apartment is starting to run out of space!

            Very nice jacket. Looks great, fits well, stretchy fabric. Ideal for XC skiing. Removable sleeves are a nice feature too. Fairly warm for a XC garment, so if you are a vigorous skier, you will either want to reduce the base layers or remove the sleeves to use as a vest.

              I bought this jacket to wear Cross Country Skiing. It was an excellent choice. The wind resistance allowed me to ski from 0 F to 25 F while wearing a light polypro under shirt. The jacket fits snugly so it doesn't interfere and moves with my body and does not constrict movement. This jacket has zip off sleeves but I never took them off. The large zippered pocket in the back was great for carrying extra gloves and gear and storing items I removed while skiing. The side zippered pockets were deep and secure. The color and style were added benefits

                This jacket is just what I was looking for. I had a fleece convertible jacket before but is is a little bulky and not wind resistant. This jacket is just that.

                It is great for backpacking and eliminates a garment (vest). It is great when it is cold out or starts to warm up. there is a pocket on the back that I have found makes a good place to hold some gear if you are going out on a day hike. This combined with my backpacks convertible fanny pack make going on day trips easier. the only thing I might add to my gear is a water reservoir that is small enough to fit in the backpack but has straps I can put on my back so I don't have to carry around a water bottle.

                Great product and I would recommend it to anyone who goes into the backcountry any time of the year.
