        I live in a cold climate and I am completely warm in this jacket. Although it is meant for skiing or other winter sports I wear it everywhere. The hood is detachable which is very conveinient and the large pockets on the inside make it nice for a motorcycle ride on a cold morning. I wear glasses so the soft goggle cleaning cloth in the left pocket is perfect! Can't say enough nice things about this jacket!

              I love everything about this jacket except that it does not have a snow skirt in the back. Since it is not a very long jacket (which I wanted as not to restrict movement while skiing) it really needs the extra wind/snow protection at the back hem. The wind goes up my back while on the lift. I was a little disappointed because most higher end ski jackets have it and I really miss this feature. Otherwise, it is warm, stylish and comfortable.

              I bought this jacket thinking it is for Snow & Cold conditions i.e. 20-30 degrees? But wearing in the Bay Area (SF) one day at 40 degrees and it absolutely did not keep me warm. Wind cut through the jacket. I even wore layers -- VERY DISAPPOINTED with this OBERMEYER "ski??" jacket .
              I would not wear this jacket in the Ski areas as originally bought for.

              Wish I could find "HEAD" ski jackets !
