by fromSuper comfortable but needs tie at waste I have the old pair of these light-weight fleece pants with a tie at the waist. Since I like to wear the pants loose, I like the old style better.

by fromLOVE these! I have 6 pairs of these. I stock up when they are on sale. I love how comfortable they are and after many washes, they still look new. I'm not one who would ever wear sweats out in public but these are nice enough to wear out of the house. Great product by REI!!

by fromPockets good , wish for drawstring waist Overall good, pockets are a new addition to this years pant. However cut is different, I feel a bit lower in rise than previous. Bought Med, pant size 10-12, Bum/legs are fitting on Med, would rather it be looser, but with the no drawstring in the waist, the Large was out of the question.

by fromGood Value I am relatively new to REI and the products. I planned to use these for casual, travel & hiking but think they would also work for camping. They are very soft and feel good without chafing. The two things that could be better: when I first got them the waist band was a bit snug (I wear a size 6 or small) with not much give and even though I am short-waisted, the rise is a bit low (more like guys pants). After a few times of trying on and wearing to see if I could keep them, the two cons aren't as noticeable (the waist has relaxed a little and I have figured out how to work with the low rise)so I have decided to keep them. Love the slant pockets with the zippers; great for keys or cell phone and not too bulky & the pockets hit the right spot on my hips so comfy.

by fromSuper comfy, wish they had a drawstring I got these to wear as a mid-layer between long underwear and an outer shell during winter hikes. They are light and packable for day hikes. I don't feel weighed down by them at all! And the material is so comfortable, I've been lounging around in them in the evenings at home. My only complaint is that there's no way to adjust the waist band, and they tend to slip down a bit. I am fairly average (5'6" and 137 lbs), so I don't feel like I'm slim enough that I should find otherwise great-fitting pants that are too large in the waist. They would be perfect if you could adjust the waist. They did work well for hiking under a shell when I cinched the drawstring of the shell pants to keep them up.

by fromFalling for fleece Fall in love with fleece all over again. I love these fleece pants. I've had another pair of REI fleece pants for years now and was looking to replace them and found the Greenlake pant. I am 5'8" and 130 lbs and bought the small size and they fit well. It would be nice to have tall sizes, but I wear them a little low on my waist so the length is ok. I have not needed a draw string for the waist. The pockets contour well so you don't really notice them. I wear them mostly in the house and when traveling.

by fromMy faves I love these pants. I live in a chilly climate, so they r great. I wear them for trail running in the winter, and for around town. Last year I got a pair, slightly different style (no pockets, a draw string, and lighter color), but I got mediums. They were too big, I thought I had ordered a men's pair. So this year I got the smalls... But don't worry, I still wear the old pair too. Same great micro fleece resistant to weather. I would recommend going one size smaller or try on a pair.
