        because they fit so snugly, they can be a bit of a challenge to get on and off, which you need to do when skiing. love the gloves but I will be buying a different pair for future winter sports activities.

        I bought these to use while cross country skiing/snowshoeing late in the season. So far I have only used them around town in blustery windy days and my hands have froze! Having somewhat petite hands, I was surprised to buy the medium size and still they feel small. Would recommend searching for Swix's lobster gloves for better performance.

        These gloves say they will keep your hands toasty warm but they don't. I think they are a little too breathable. I've had them out in temps below 20, one day with a -9 windchill and the cold cut right through these gloves. It was really bad with wind. I might have well been wearing nothing. It seems that the synthetic leather is where the cold is really let in. My hands were burning after being outside with them on for 10 minutes. I won't be hitting the trails in these but they were nice for driving in the car. The inside is soft and they look nice. They fit snug, seem to run small width wise and around the palm and long finger wise. I typically wear a women's medium but had to get these in a large.
