this could be a great set only it was way too small. my daughter is just now fitting 6-12 months in clothes now so we bought a 6-12 month size in this hat and mitten set. the way the packaging is, you can't try it on before you buy it. well once we got home i put it on her and the hat is way too small. the mittens fit great though and i really like them because they don't come with a thumb part you have to mess with. i will probably buy the next size up since i think that once i find something that fits this will be a great set. but i am very disappointed with having to take the time to return it in the first place. so buy big.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
