Comments about Patagonia Snowshot Shell Pants - Men's Short:

it seems that very few manufacturers produce varying length pants. I was looking for something that didn't bunch up around my knees with either snowboard boots or ski boots. These pants seems to meet that want, at least on me. I'm about 5'11 / 200lbs. and bought a size large / short in these. They fit well and aren't too long like some other ski pants that I have. Very happy with these so far in both performance and features, especially the number of pockets and vents. These pants have two 'hand' pockets in the normal location of other pants along with pockets on each thigh and two rear pockets. There are vents on the inner thigh which is webbed vs. other pants that I have with outer thigh vents which are open to the elements. I've been able to get these out a handful of times now and they are warm though I've been wearing long underwear with them. There's a netting lining that makes them easy to take on and off. They are still a bit baggy in the leg as they are a relaxed fit but I understand there is a 'slim' version of these as well. I may look at those next season but so far am satisfied that these fit in length vs. some other pants I've worn in the past.
