    I am not a cyclist. I'm an avid runner and I am always looking for ways to stay comfortable during the winter. I have worn these guys trail running several times once in a wet sleety snow. They hold up! You'll never be 100% comfortable in those conditions, but at least you don't question your lifestyle and commitment to your physical hobby!
    I'm 5'6" and 125lbs. The extra small fit better than I expected, but I'm not using any of the padding a cyclist would. I also have short legs the length was long, but about normal for my stems.
    Like the reflective patches too.

      Just the other day, I put on my pants and went for a ride. It was 28 degrees and sunny. I put on my padded shorts underneath. I was very impressed at how warm I was. I was never too warm or sweaty. They are "tight" pants. Slim fitted. I'm 5'7" and the lenght is perfect. VERY comfortable! For the rain...don't know. I'm sure the pants will do great. I'm very happy with my purchase!

      I bought these on sale at a great price. I am 5'3 112lbs and got an XS. Perfect fit, very flattering and comfortable to wear around the house or to go for a cold weather run. I rode in them once on my Tri bike and it was just horrible. The seat is extremly slippery and I had to constantly slide back. Also the material does not give at all and feels very restricting accross the knees.

      I bought last year's version and loved them but the M is a litte too big, with no drawstring, so I ordered this year's version in a small. I'm 5'3, 125 lbs. The legs are way too long and the calf section is very, very narrow. If you are tall and willowy with long legs, these are the tights for you. If you are petite, look elsewhere. (I wish these came in petite as some REI pants do.)
