      Comments about Novara Thermal Tech Beanie:

      I bike to work daily in rain, snow, or shine. I bought this beanie when the months became cooler/cold. Now, I have a rather large head. I wear a size 7 5/8 fitted baseball cap, which is considered "XL" on the sizing chart. I wear an XL helmet, which is pretty comfortable, and with the beanie on, the helmet is lightly tighter, but still very comfortable. This beanie is great. I sweat quite a bit, even during cold fall days and snowy, bitterly cold winter days. This beanie does the trick, keeps my head warm, wicks away sweat and rain/snow, and fits nicely under my helmet. I just realized that I lost this hat tonight (left it in a rental car), which is why I returned to REI's website to purchase another one. And to leave a review while I was here. I like it so much, I'm buying it again. I'm bummed not to have the hat with me on my ride in the morning (the first day without it this winter). Sad day.

      Oh, and my wife will wear this thing sometimes when she forgets her hat, and it also fits her well. She has a tiny head. She wears a children's small bike helmet. So the beanie is stretchy, but it does not choke my head. It is very comfortable.
