I'm 5'5", weigh about 140, pretty straight up and down body. Originally ordered size 10, too big in shoulders, looked like football player. Ordered size 8, better on top but when I sat, seemed tight at hips. It would work better, seem safer, with a two-way zipper. I haven't worn it, and I will probably return it. My friend who has bigger shoulders and is otherwise my size LOVES her size 10. Go figure.

I have been looking for functional, warm and cute down jacket. I was in Seattle for a trip and figured I'd have plenty of choice at their flagship store. I am 5' and 120 lbs and have a short torso. I tried on over 10 jackets. Most jackets bulged in the chest area. This jacket fit very well through the chest, arms and length was perfect. I noticed there were some down poking out but was assured this was common with down and should be fine after a wear. I wore this for 5 days and down continually leaked out and every time I put the jacket on or took it off, down fluffed around me. Down also poked out along seams on all parts of the jacket.I took it to a local REI and was told that THAT was not normal. In fact when I pulled the jacket out of the bag, down was flying everywhere. I sadly returned the jacket and am back to looking for a down jacket.
