        I bought these for my wife as a Christmas present. She loved the look and the fit, but after about two weeks of use one of the thumbs started coming undone. We returned them and got another pair only to have the exact same thing happen after about three weeks. Afraid two strikes is out in this case.

            I am happy with the overall quality of the mitt. I am going to the artic circle in February and I want something to keep me warm yet allow access of my fingers for photos and other things requiring a little more dexterity. I would anticipate using these during cold times here at home as well. That's where the draw-back, for me, is. It clearly shows that these mitts are different colors in the picture....I realizied after I got mine and was suprised. One is dark grey and the other mitt is light grey. The pink/orange pair are the same (mis-matched). I would feel silly wearing these out and about town. I may not have bought them had I known. But, hey, I don't personally know anyone in the artic circle, and I'll be warm!! Just a note incase you missed the color difference in the picture like I did!!!

            Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
