          I have owned many different types of base layer before being converted to merino wool and I am not looking back. The top of the pants and leg cuffs are comfortable. The crotch area is gusseted and unrestricted. Absolutely works as advertised!

              I've had a set of midweight (top and bottom) long underwear for 2 winters, not counting this one. It's fantastically warm like no cotton can ever feel, it's amazingly soft and comfortable, and it's lasted quite a long time with daily usage in the cooler months. I recommend Smartwool underwear 100%.
