The Patagonia Apastron Hoodie jacket offers the ultimate in windproof warmth. Frigid big-wall bivies, epic ice belays and subzero ski tours call for the warmest shell you can get your frozen hands on!

  • Apastron combines lightweight, windproof, highly breathable Gore WindStopper® fabric with highly weather resistant, beefy 200g PrimaLoft® Eco insulation
  • Flat, snow-shedding front eliminates cold spots, while internal quilting holds the insulation in place
  • In addition to serious warmth, the Patagonia Apastron has a helmet-compatible hood with a laminated visor; 3-way adjustability provides optimal visibility in bad conditions
  • Embedded cordlocks in the hood and hem offer quick adjustments to seal out rain and snow
  • Low-profile cuff closures with pleated gussets seal in warmth
  • Harness- and pack-compatible zippered pockets: 2 handwarmers, 2 chest and 1 internal security

        Good jacket for MN winters when I want to stay warm but still look reasonably professional. The only drawback is that the jacket is not athletic cut, but I did not expect it to be. Recommend this jacket.

        Great jacket for someone who wants ultimate warmth in a synthetic filled jacket. Great for cold or windy winter pursuits. Great for mountain use as well in the city. I like the more sporty styling, compared to all the down jackets with the fur trimmed hoods.
