I wear this when its cold on campus. I like the style of the jacket its down without being to puffy. It could get caught and produce holes in the jacket.

This is a great synthetic Jacket. I have an Arcteryx Atom LT that isn't warm enough on those really cold days. This jacket keeps you warm and I really like the hood. The hood has a single cinch cord on the back that you pull and the hood stays off your face to give great visibility.

I just purchased this jacket (9/14/12) for the upcoming fall/winter season, so I haven't gotten to test it out in REALLY cold temps yet. I have used it at night to take my dogs out around 50 degrees F with a 10-15 mph wind and a slight drizzle and thought I was still snuggled up in my cozy blanket on the couch. One thing I love most is that the under side wrist cuff is a slightly rubberized seam that stays tight to your wrist so nothing can get in. The Hood adjustment works great too. I can't wait until winter hits so I can see what this bad boy is made of, it's definitely one of the most comfortable jackets/coats I've ever put on. Oh yea.. and it comes with it's own stuff sack so you can pack it down for travel and use it as a small pillow if needed.
