I like a pant that I can wear anywhere. I like a pant that I can wear around town and then go hiking in later. Or a pant that I can wear while riding a bike and then look good off the bike. Or a pant where I can spontaneously go to the crag or gym without having to worry about if I can pull off that high step lock off or mantel move because my pants are too restrictive.

I'm a simple and light enthusiasts so I love to wear these pants skiing and ice climbing. They are super light but durable and impressively weather resistant but breathable. The fit is amazing as well and was the first thing I noticed about them. They are trim and fitting so you don't have to worry about them getting caught in a bike chain or getting snagged on a crampon, plus it makes them look real sharp when just around town. Despite the slim fitting design of the pant, they still allow the perfect amount of room for a pair of long underwear underneath. Another plus, there is a short zipper at the ankle to expand the width of the pant for getting over boots. I also love the fact that these pants have comfortable hand pockets in front and then a zip pocket in the back. Simple but practical.

Basically, whatever it is that you want to do, you can do it in these pants. Patagonia nailed it. The price may seem high but once you wear the pant you'll realize the pants are well worth it! I wear mine practically everyday!
