Comments about SportHill Day Pass Soft-Shell Skirt - 2011 Closeout:
I wanted a winter skirt that I could wear with tights and not worry about being careful with it. I'm usually a medium, but based on the sizing chart, I thought I might be a large. The medium fit okay, but the front zipper didn't lay perfectly flat, so I didn't think it looked dressy enough. I ordered a second medium to see if it was just a problem with that particular item. And I also ordered a small skirt. The second medium skirt still had the issue of the front zipper not being perfectly flat. But with the small skirt and the resulting snug fit, there's no issue with a crooked zipper.
So you can either go with a looser fit and you may find the front zipper doesn't lay perfectly flat. Or you can go with a tight fit and that will pull the fabric enough to give you a flat zipper. The material is really like a soft-shell jacket, so the zipper responds more jacket-like than dress-clothes like. Decide what you need this skirt for, and buy accordingly.
