After the first wear, I wasn't sure if I'd give them a chance, as the strap was rather stiff. I'm so glad I hung in there! I broke 'em in and booooy, was it worth it! I L O V E these flip flops! I wore them all summer with shorts, skirts, jeans...you name it! And I continue to milk the usage before the cold kicks in! Yes, they are a bit stiff and might cause a blister or two (not with my feet), but I really think they're worth the break in.
Oh! Just last week, my 82 year old aunt (very conservative) commented, "I really like your flip flops...they're cute and look comfortable..."
I laughed and said, "they are! and they're my favorite flip flops."
Over the years, I've owned a lot of flip flops and have to say these are the most comfortably stylish! Fixin' to buy another pair. Yes, I am.

Thought these would be super comfy... not so! The straps are not at all "supple" as described. Wore these a couple of times and they caused cuts in the tops of my feet. I don't think I can wear them again... really disappointed.

Got these to replace a pair of Chaco's (my arch doesn't love the Chaco's). Thought these were the answer. Fit great when I first got them, but then they loosened up after wearing them. Too loose. Not good, so many blisters... grateful for REI's amazing return policy.
