Love this jacket as a extra insulation layer for winter hiking and spring camping. It's warm for the weight, packs small (could probably get it even smaller with a zip lock bag or small compression stuff sack), and makes a nice pillow for camping when you pack it into its pocket. Who needs to buy a special pillow that takes up valuable backpacking space? This jacket serves as an extra layer and pillow in one!

Would like if the color were a little less shiny, but this jacket has been perfect for my hiking and camping needs!

I bought this in search of that all important mid layer to keep warm in Wyoming winter skiing. I went outside to see how it felt, arms got cold even with a parka and it wasn't warm at all. Nice looking for maybe sitting around reading the paper or something, but fleece works for that. I was really disappointed as all the reviews claim them all to be all you need. NOT so.

Service and delivery comments:

Took a long time, gave me time to consider other options comparing nano puff and other Patagonia and REI revelcloud, none were warm enough for me. I'm heading to NF Denali jacket and maybe the Chromium or other outer later. Also researching Columbia and expensive arcteryx. Good luck!
