Comments about Point 65 Apollo Sit-On-Top Kayak - Stern Section:
I'm very happy with my Apollo. I've used in in flat relatively slow moving rivers so far, specifically in Jefferson County WV on the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers in the summer months. I bought it because I can carry Inside my 2008 Forester, and carry it by myself.
It is a sit on top, and does get water in it.
And I agree with other reviewers, it doesn't track well. It is short, so that is to be expected. Some of this can be accomendated by bracing with your legs alternately as you paddle. I have an inflatable kayak that I purchased from REI, and it tracks about the same but isn't rigid enough to control with my legs like I can this one.
I plan on purchasing the mid section. The extra length may improve the tracking.
I do wish the design included handles at the ends like the longer versions of Point 65 two piece kayaks. I am happy enough with this boat to be considering a future purchase of the Point 65 Tequila or Martini versions of their two piece kayaks

Comments about Point 65 Apollo Sit-On-Top Kayak - Stern Section:
I wrote a review on the bow section and figured I would write one for the stern. I have a couple trips on this boat. Latest trip was on a fairly slow moving river and this kayak was fun to paddle. I do not regret my purchase .
Pros: Easy storage at home, fits in the back of a car, easy to move about in the water. Easy assembly , the puzzled look you get from people when you assemble your kayak on the landing then climb in and paddle away.
Cons: Slow, poor tracking, rides low in the water, when the boat was pulled on a sand bar wave from a small passing speed boat had no problem filling my rear cargo area
